• Diploma in Civil Engineering
• or
• Diploma in Architecture and Interior Design
•  or
• LCE from Board of Technical Education and Training Chennai and Supervisory Competency Certificate from Electrical Wireman, Supervisors and Contractors Licensing Board Chennai
•  or
• Govt Technical Exam Senior Grade in Applied Mechanics
•  or
• Govt Technical Exam Senior Grade in Building Drawing and Estimating 
• or
• Govt Technical Exam Senior Grade in Building Materials and Constructions
•  or
• Govt Technical Exam Senior Grade in Surveying and Leveling 
• or
• Govt Technical Exam Junior Grade in Earth work and road making with 2 years experience in town planning
•  or
• Govt Technical Exam Junior Grade in Geomaterial Drawing with 2 years experience in town planning
•  or
• Govt Technical Exam Junior Grade in Draughtsmanship (Civil) with 2 years experience in town planning 
• or
• 2 years experience in town planning with 2 years experience in town planning
