Detailed Vacancy Position :

• Assistant Inspector of Sericulture (AIS) - 13 Posts - Basic Pay 9300 Grade Pay 4200 plus allowances in Pay Band II category  - Bachelor's Degree in Science with Sericulture as a main subject (BSc Sericulture) or equivalent educational qualifications

Age Limit :

Cut off date for Qualifications 01.07.2017

There is No Age Limit for SC / SC Arunthathiyar / ST 

There is No Age Limit for Destitute Widow of all communities including UR / GEN. 

There is No Age Limit for BC / BC Muslims / MBC / DNC

UR / GEN candidates 30 years

Persons with Disabilities (PwD / PH) can avail 10 years relaxations additionally along-with their communal quota.

List of documents to be enclosed with application form :

1. 10th Std Mark Sheet (self attested photo copy)
2. 12th Std Mark sheet (self attested photo copy)
3. BSc Sericulture Degree Certificate or Provisional Certificate (self attested photo copy)
4. Equivalent Degree Government Order (G.O.) for other then BSc Sericulture degree holders (self attested photo copy)
5. Community Certificate (self attested photo copy)
6. Transfer Certificate (TC) (self attested photo copy)
7. Person Studied in Tamil Medium Certificate (for PSTM Quota)  (self attested photo copy)
8. Conduct Certificate from the last studies institution  (self attested photo copy)
9. After pasting one photo in application form, one additional photo should be enclosed for the purpose of written exam hall ticket / admit card.
10. Demand Draft Rs.200 (All Candidates).

Examination fee demand draft should be in favour of "Director of Sericulture" payable at "Salem".
