Post :

• Agricultural Officer (Extension) in Tamil Nadu Agricultural Extension Service -  192 Posts - Basic Pay 9300 Grade Pay 5100 plus allowances in Pay Band II category (Basic Pay 37700 plus allowances in Tamil Nadu State Pay Matrix Level 20) - Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture.

Age limit details :

• Minimum age limit is 18 years should have completed.
• There is no maximum age limit for SC / SCA / ST / BC / BCM / MBC / DNC candidates and Destitute Widow of all communities.
• Maximum age limit for UR candidates is 30 years.

Examination Details :

Two papers in MCQ type of examination.
Paper I : Agriculture Total 200 MCQs ; each questions will carry 1.5 marks ; Total 300 marks.
Paper II :  General Studies (Degree Std Level) 75 MCQs ; Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (10th Std Level) 25 MCQs
There is no negative marking system.
Personal Interview 70 marks.
