Post :

• Controller of Examinations (COE) - 1 Post - Basic Pay 37400 Academic Grade Pay 10000 in Pay Band IV category.

Educational Qualifications / Experience for Controller of Examination Post in Periyar University Salem :

• Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC 7 point scale at the Master degree level from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University.
• At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the  Academic Grade Pay Rs. 7000 and above or with 8 years of service in the Academic Grade Pay Rs.8000 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration, or Comparable experience in research establishment and / or other institutions of higher education. or 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
• Ph.D. Degree in any discipline obtained from a recognised University.
• Knowledge in Tamil to the extent of carrying official correspondence and drafting reports.
