TNPSC Town Planning Assistant Recruitment 2018 :
- Architectural Assistant / Planning Assistant in Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Subordinate Service - 13 Posts - Basic Pay 37700 plus allowances in Tamil State State Pay Matrix Level 20
Educational Qualifications required for TNPSC Townplanning Architectural Assistant Exam 2018 :
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (BE / BTech)
- OR
- Degree of Master of Town Planning
- OR
- Associate Member of the Institute of Town Planners of India
- OR
- Associate Member of Institute of Architects of India
- OR
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch.)
- OR
- Civil Engineering in AMIE - Associate Member of the Institute of Engineers India.
Age limit details :
- Minimum age limit is 18 years should have completed.
- There is no maximum age limit for SC / SCA / ST / BC / BCM / MBC / DNC candidates and Destitute Widow of all communities.
- Maximum age limit for UR candidates is 30 years.
- UR candidates, who-ever working more than 5 years in government sector (state / central / psu) are not eligible to apply, even though they are in with-in the age limit.
Examination Details :
Two papers in MCQ type of examination.
Paper I : Town Planning (PG Degree) or Architecture (UG Degree) or Civil Engineering (UG Degree) - 200 MCQs - 300 marks - 3 hours exam.
Paper II : General Studies (Degree Std Level) 75 MCQs ; Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (10th Std Level) 25 MCQs
There is no negative marking system.
Examination Centres : Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy, Thirunelveli and Salem.
