TNPSC Draghtsman Exam 2018 :

• Draughtsman Gr.III in Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Subordinate Service   - 53 Posts (refer reservation chart) - Basic Pay 35400 plus allowances in Tamil State State Pay Matrix Level 11 (Basic Pay 9300 Grade Pay 4200) - DCE / DAA / PDTCP

Educational Qualifications required for TNPSC Town Planning Drughtsman Exam Post :

• Post Diploma in Town and Country Planning, awarded by Govt of Tamilnadu (experience not required)
• OR
• Diploma in Civil Engineering (DCE), awarded by DOTE, Govt of Tamilnadu or equivalent qualifications  ; plus experience
• OR
• Diploma in Architectural Assistantship (DAA), awarded by DOTE, Govt of Tamilnadu or equivalent qualifications  ; plus experience

Experience required :

• NIL (for Post Diploma candidates).
• Minimum 3 years experience required for DCE / DAA candidates.

Age limit details : 

• Minimum age limit is 18 years should have completed.
• 35 years age limit for SC / SCA / ST / BC / BCM / MBC / DNC candidates and Destitute Widow of all communities.
• 30 years age limit for UR candidates.
• Additional 10 years age relaxations are applicable for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) as per Government of India rules, in addition to the above communal roster systems.
• Applicants not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, BCMs who have put in five years and more of service in the State / Central Government are not eligible to apply even if they are within the age limit.
