Educational Qualifications required for TNHRCE Exec.Gr.4 TNPSC Exam Post :
- 10th Std Pass / SSLC / Matriculation
- OR
- Tamil Pulavar (தமிழ் புலவர்) Course recognised by UGC
Experience required :
- NIL
Age limit details :
- Minimum age limit is 25 years should have completed.
- 40 years for SC / SCA / ST and Destitute Widow of all communities.
- 37 years for BC / MBC / DNC candidates
- 35 years age limit for UR candidates.
- There is no age limit for SC / SCA / ST / BC / MBC / DNC candidates and Destitute Widow of all communities who possess a General Educational Qualification which is higher than the Minimum General Educational Qualification (i.e. who have passed P.U.C / H.S.C / Diploma /Degree).
- Additional 10 years age relaxations are applicable for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) as per Government of India rules, in addition to the above communal roster systems.
- UR candidates, who have put in 5 years and more of service in the State / Central Government are not eligible to apply even if they are within the age limit
- 48 years for UR Ex-Service-man candidates.
- 53 years for SC / SCA / ST / BC / MBC Ex-Servicemen candidates.

Method of selection via, Written Exam (single paper) and Viva-Voce Test.
I Paper : General Studies 75 MCQs (SSLC Level) ; Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (10th Std Level) 25 MCQs ;General Tamil or General English (10th Std level) 100 MCQs -- Total 200 MCQs for 3 hours time duration ; 1.5 marks for each one Multiple Choice Question total 300 marks
