TNPSC  Accounts Exam 2019 :

• Accounts Officer Class III - 4 Vacancies

TNPSC AO Posts Recruitment 2019 :

• Accounts Officer (Class III) Treasuries and Accounts Department in Tamil Nadu Treasuries and Accounts Service - 4 Posts for SC candidates  - Basic Pay 56900 plus allowances in Tamil State State Pay Matrix Level 23 (Basic Pay 15600 Grade Pay 5700 in Pay Band III category) - Any Degree and Must have passed the Final Examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants / Cost Accountants.

Educational Qualifications required for TNPSC Accounts Officer Exam Post :

• Bachelor's Degree in Any subject
• AND
• CA Final Exam
• OR
• CMA (ICWA) Final Exam

Experience required TNPSC Accounts Officer Post :

• NIL

Age limit details  :

• Minimum age limit is 18 years should have completed.
• UR candidates : Not Eligible
• BC / BCM / MBC / DNC candidates : Not Eligible
• SC / SCA / ST / Destitute Widow of all communities candidates :  No Age Limit
• Additional 10 years age relaxations are applicable for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) as per Government of India rules, in addition to the above communal roster systems.
• UR candidates, who have put in 5 years and more of service in the State / Central Government are not eligible to apply even if they are within the age limit
• 48 years for Ex-Service-man candidates.

Examination Details :

Method of selection via, Written Exam and Viva-Voce Test.

Paper I  : Core Paper (CA / ICWA) Total 200 MCQs each 1.5 marks ; Total 300 marks; 3 hours time duration ;

Paper II : General Studies 75 MCQs (Degree Level) ; Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (10th Std Level) 25 MCQs   -- Total 100 MCQs each 2 marks ; Total 200 marks ; 2 hours time duration ;

Interview / Oral Test  70 marks.

There is no negative marking system.
