• Stenographer - 20 Posts (11 UR ; 2 UR EWS; 4 OBC ; 3 SC) - Basic Pay 25500 plus allowances in Central Government 7th Pay Matrix Level 4 (Basic 5200 Grade Pay 2400) - 12th Std Pass ; Shorthand Speed 80 words per minute / Stenography in English / Hindi and working knowledge in computers - Age limit 27 years
• Stenographer - 131 Posts (75 UR ; 13 UR EWS; 28 OBC ; 14 SC ; 1 ST) - Basic Pay 25500 plus allowances in Central Government 7th Pay Matrix Level 4 (Basic 5200 Grade Pay 2400) - Bachelor's Degree in any subject with computer skills - Age limit 27 years

Age limit details :

Cut-off date for age is 15.04.2019

UR candidates 27 years

OBC candidates 30 years

SC / ST candidates 32 years

Additional 10 years relaxations are applicable for Persons with Disabilities.

Age relaxation for Ex-Service man is as per Government rules.

Exam details for STENO :

Phase I Main Exam :
Negative marks : 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

1. English Language & Comprehension - 100 MCQs - 100 marks - 70 minutes
2. Reasoning Ability - 50 MCQs - 50 marks - 35 minutes
3. General Awareness - 50 MCQs - 50 marks - 25 minutes

Phase II Skill Test : Time 40 minutes

1. Preparation of 2 Power Points Slides - 10 marks 
2. Typewriting in computer MS-word , formatting - 20 marks
3. MS-Excel works with table, formulae - 20 marks
4. Stenography test 

Exam details for UDC :

Phase I Preliminary Exam : Time 60 minutes
Negative marks : 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

1. General Intelligence and Reasoning - 25 MCQs - 50 marks
2. General Awareness - 25 MCQs - 50 marks
3. Quantitative Aptitude - 25 MCQs - 50 marks
4. English Comprehension - 25 MCQs - 50 marks

Phase II Main Exam : Time 120 minutes
Negative marks : 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
