Educational Qualifications : No person shall be eligible for appointment to the post unless he possesses the following qualifications, namely :
1. Must possess the Minimum General Educational Qualification specified in the Schedule to the General Rules for the Tamil Nadu State and Subordinate Services or must have been declared eligible for admission to college course of study.
2. Must have passed the Government Technical Examination both in English and Tamil Typewriting by the Higher Grade;
3. Must have passed the Government Technical Examination both in English and Tamil Shorthand by the Higher Grade or intermediate Grade.
