Age limit details :

Cut off date for age limit calculation is 01.07.2023

Minimum age limit is 18 years should have completed.

Maximum age limit as follows :

UR candidates : 59 years for College Librarian / 37 years for all other posts.

UR candidates : 37 years for DLO and ACL Librarian Post.

UR candidates : 32 years for Secretariat LA and ACL LA Posts.

There is no age limit for BC / BCM / MBC / DNC / SC / SCA / ST / Destitute Widow of all communities candidates.
Additional 10 years age relaxations are applicable for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) as per Government of India rules, in addition to the above communal roster systems.
UR candidates, who have put in 5 years and more of service in the State / Central Government are not eligible to apply even if they are within the age limit
48 years for Ex-Servicemen candidates.

Kindly Note :

Tamil eligibility test (That is Paper II Part A) marks will not be considered for ranking. But all the candidates must scored minimum 40% of questions i.e. 60 questions out of 150 questions. If any one failed to get score 40% marks in Tamil eligibility test, they will be treated as fail this entire exam.
