- Road Inspector (சாலை ஆய்வாளர்) in Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department ; Tamil Nadu Panchayat Development Engineering Subordinate Service (Post Code No.3245 ; Service Code No.115) - 761 Posts - Basic Pay 19500 plus allowances in Tamil State Revised Pay Matrix Level 8 - ITI Trade Certificate in Draughtsmanship Civil or Diploma in Civil Engineering ; Priority will be given for Diploma in Civil Engineering holders

Age limit details :
Cut off date for age limit calculation is 01.07.2023
Minimum age limit is 18 years should have completed.
Maximum age limit as follows :
UR candidates : 37 years
There is no age limit for BC / BCM / MBC / DNC / SC / SCA / ST / Destitute Widow of all communities candidates.
Additional 10 years age relaxations are applicable for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) as per Government of India rules, in addition to the above communal roster systems.
UR candidates, who have put in 5 years and more of service in the State / Central Government are not eligible to apply even if they are within the age limit
48 years for Ex-Servicemen candidates.

Examination details :
Examination will be conducted as OMR / Computer Based Multiple Choice Questions (CBT).
Paper I - ITI Trade Draughtsman Civil
- 200 Questions - Each 1.5 marks - 300 Marks - Time 180 minutes
Paper II Part A - 10th Std Level
- Tamil Eligibility Test - 100 Questions - Each 1.5 marks - 150 Marks - Time 90 minutes
Paper II Part B - GK
- 75 Questions General Studies from Degree Level
- 25 Questions Aptitude and Mental Ability (SSLC Level)
- Total 100 Questions - Each 1.5 marks - 150 Marks - Time 90 minutes
Kindly Note :
Tamil eligibility test (That is Paper II Part A) marks will not be considered for ranking. But all the candidates must scored minimum 40% of questions i.e. 60 questions out of 150 questions. If any one failed to get score 40% marks in Tamil eligibility test, they will be treated as fail this entire exam.
Interview marks - 0 Marks. (NO INTERVIEW)
