Post :

• Assistant Surgeon in Tamil Nadu Medical Service - 41 Posts - Basic Pay 18200 plus allowances in Tamil Nadu Revised Pay Matrix Level 5 - 12th Std Pass; Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology Course (one year duration course) ; Must have a good physique, good vision and capacity to do outdoor work.

Age Limit :

Cut off date for age limit calculation is 01.07.2025
Minimum age is 18 years completed.

UR 32 years

UR PwD 42 years

UR Ex-serviceman 48 years

There is no age limit for BC / BC Muslims / MBC / DNC / SC / SCA / ST candidates (i.e. 60 years)

There is no age limit for Destitute Widow from all communities.

Selection Procedure / Weightage for marks  :

Selection will be made through weightage of marks scored in academics as follows :

10th Std Pass - 20 %

12th Std Pass - 30 %

Certificate / Diploma / Degree Course - 50%
