🎓 Qualification
Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in electrical engineering, power systems, energy engineering, energy policy, or a closely related discipline.
💼 Experience
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing mulƟ-stakeholder programmes in the energy, power, or infrastructure sectors. •
- Demonstrated experience managing insƟtuƟonal partnerships that span government, academia, and industry. Comfort operaƟng at the intersecƟon of policy, technology, and insƟtuƟonal development.
- Strong understanding of power systems, grid modernisaƟon, renewable energy integraƟon, or uƟlity operaƟons. The Centre Head does not need to be the deepest technical expert, but must be technically qualified to direct research prioriƟes, evaluate proposals, and engage credibly with academic and industry experts. •
- Experience managing programme budgets of $5M+ with mulƟ-year disbursement schedules and external funder reporƟng. •
- Demonstrated ability to engage senior government officials, C-suite industry execuƟves, academic leadership, and internaƟonal development partners with equal credibility. • Excellent wriƩen and verbal communicaƟon in English. Working knowledge of Telugu is a significant advantage. •
- Willingness to be based full-Ɵme in Visakhapatnam with regular domesƟc and internaƟonal travel.
