• Driver (வாகன ஓட்டுநர்)  - 30 Vacancy Posts
• Approximate Vacancies : 30 Posts
• Salary Details : Basic Pay Rs.15700 plus allowances ; with special allowance
• Essential Educational Qualifications : 10th Std Pass ; with valid driving license for Light Motor Vehicles (LMV)
• Essential Experience Qualifications :  Nil
• Desirable Qualifications :  
• One year craft course in regular mode of education in the field of House Keeping / Food and Beverage / Cooking / Bakery 
• Valid two wheeler driving license.
• Age limit details : Age limit between 18 years* to 45 years*

*Age Limit Details :
Cut off date for age calculation is 01.07.2019
Minimum age limit is 18 should have been completed.
Maximum age limit as follows :
35 years for SC / SCA / ST / MBC / DNC / BC / BCM candidates.
30 years for UR candidates.
45 years for in-service candidates.

Selection Method :

Selection will be through three stages :
1. Written Examination
2. Skill Test / Practical Test
3. Persona Interview / Oral Test.

Written Exam details :
Single paper exam.
General Knowledge 35 MCQs. (minimum qualifying marks 11)
General Tamil 15 MCQs. (minimum qualifying marks 4)
Each exam time duration is 75 minutes.
Each exam having 75 marks
Questions will in Tamil and English.

Skill / Practical Test details :
Total marks 100
Minimum qualifying marks 30
Assessment of candidates knowledge in driving theory, pre-driving checks, zone of vision, priority for certain vehicles, traffic education, vehicle mechanism and repairs, good qualities of driver, driving skills, first aid, emergency care, general manner and attitude.

Oral Test / Interview  details :
Candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:3 from the skill test.
Total marks 15
Minimum qualifying marks 5
Assessment of candidates mental alertness, skills, attitude, ethics, character, communication skill etc.
