Cut off date for age limit is 04.12.2025
Minimum age limit is 18 years completed.
28 years for UR candidates.
+3 years for OBC candidates
+5 years for SC / ST candidates
+10 years for PwD candidates in additional with the above communal relaxations.
Fees details for CEPTAM Exam :
Application Registration Fee is Rs.100 for UR male / OBC male candidates.
FREE (there is no fee) for all women candidates.
FREE (there is no fee) for SC / ST candidates.
FREE (there is no fee) for PwD candidates
FREE (there is no fee) for Ex-serviceman candidates.

Examination process for Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B) :
Examination will be in MCQ pattern in computer based test.
No negative marks for wrong answers.
Exam will be in two stages. Stage I (Preliminary) ; Stage II (Main).
Stage I - Tier 1 Exam - 120 MCQs - 120 Marks - Time 90 minutes
- Quantitative ability / aptitude, General intelligence and Reasoning ability, General awareness, English language (basic knowledge), General science
Stage II - Tier 2 Exam - 100 MCQs - 100 Marks - Time 90 minutes
- Core Subject Questions
Examination process for Technician-A (Tech-A) :
Examination will be in MCQ pattern in computer based test.
No negative marks for wrong answers.
Exam will be in two stages. Stage I (Preliminary) ; Stage II (Main).
Stage I - Tier 1 Exam - 120 MCQs - 120 Marks - Time 90 minutes
- Section A : 40 Questions : Quantitative ability / aptitude, General intelligence and Reasoning ability, General awareness, English language (basic knowledge)
- Section B : 80 Questions : Core subject questions
Stage II - Tier 2 Exam - Trade Test / Practical Test in core subject - Time 1 to 2 hours
