Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements

Chief Executive/Climate Action Officer (CCAO): Ph.D. or Master's degree in Climate Change, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or Environmental Engineering
. Requires a minimum of 15 years of work experience, including 8 years in climate change, sustainability, or urban development programs . -
Environmental Specialist / Climate Specialist: Master's degree in Climate Change, Environmental Engineering/Science, Urban Planning, Sustainability, or Civil Engineering
. Requires a minimum of 10 years of total professional experience, with at least 6 years at the national or state government level . -
Environmental and Social Officer: Master's degree in Environmental Science/Management, Social Work, Management, Sociology, Development Studies, Public Policy, or related fields
. Requires a minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 6 years of proven experience on similar work at the state or national level . -
Gender Expert: Master's degree in Gender Studies, Social Work, Sociology, Development Studies, Public Policy, Management, or related fields
. Requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in gender mainstreaming, social inclusion, or capacity building, with at least 6 years in government programmes like Smart Cities, AMRUT, or SBM .
